Branch Human Resources Administrator

Education / Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related experience required
- PHR / SPHR Certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years Human Resources Generalist experience with demonstrated experience developing strong collaborative business relationships
- High level of confidentially with sensitive information and professionalism
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment law, employee relations and corporate policies and procedures
- Ability to model the Capital values and to provide innovative solutions

We are currently seeking a full-time Forklift Operator – Day Shift for our Healdsburg Branch that reports directly to our Operations Manager. This role also receives instructions from the Team Lead, Operations Lead, and/or Supervisor.
Essential Functions:
- Notifies Supervisor of any necessary equipment maintenance/repair.
- Bands lumber product for storage or shipping.
- Assists in moving of inventory for storage within the yard area as directed.
- Properly stores inventory, keeping it level and covered as necessary.
- Assists in inventory and/or cycle counts as directed.
- May operate saw equipment intermittently.
- Assists in keeping all lanes and areas clean and clear for traffic.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Remains flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur throughout the course of employment.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
- 1-4 years previous experience with forklifts and other machinery (as designated by and at the discretion of the Division and Operations Manager for the particular position available).
- Active Forklift Certification.
- Good knowledge of lumber products.
- Basic Math skills.
- Good communication skills with a positive attitude.
- Able to lift, shift, and push weight up to 75 pounds.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English to the extent required to receive and communicate information as necessary to the position.
Attendance:
- Excellent attendance is required for this fast-paced position.
- Possible overtime and weekend hours may be required for this position.

Merchandising Specialist

The Merchandising Specialist is responsible for representing Capital, effectively working in teams or individually to perform resets and other work including, but not limited to, reading and implementation of plan-o-grams, new item placement, corrections, and inventory activity.
Please Note: The position will include driving around Northern California and will have stops ranging from Hayward to Vacaville. Mileage will be reimbursed.
Education, Experience and Skills Required
- High School Diploma required and/or 1-2 years customer service experience in retail is preferred but not required
- Proficient at prioritizing, planning, and organization
- Able to read and understand a schematic written in English
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others
- Attention to details, safety and quality
- Ability to work well in a team environment and individually
- Must be outgoing and able to accurately troubleshoot hurdles.
- Ability to anticipate, analyze, and prioritize complex problems
- Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing technology CRM, smartphones or other handheld devices

The position oversees the management of customer accounts; services customers by selling products, fielding questions, and resolving customer’s issues. Services existing accounts and also establishes new accounts. essential functions are:
- Sell/market Company products and services using all communications methods provided and within the parameters set by the Company
- Quote and negotiate product prices on behalf of the Company to customers, using independent judgment and discretion based on knowledge of current market conditions and other factors
- Receive customer questions, concerns and complaints and exercise judgment and discretion to resolve them on behalf of the Company
- Collect and disperse information relevant to the customer’s and company’s needs and use that information to provide superior customer service
- Continually analyze customer base and manage according to the best return on time invested
- Actively participate in strategic planning and annual budgeting by account
- Complete training courses, classes and seminars as assigned
- Maintain on-going product knowledge meetings for your customers
- Perform product maintenance through cycle counts as necessary for specialty item inventory
