Founded in 1948, Capital is a privately held Arizona Corporation, with eight regional distribution facilities geographically focused in the West that offers sales, market development, inventory management and distribution services within the building materials industry. Distribution and Customization
We have exclusive arrangements with many of the top producers of specialty building materials in the markets in which we operate. We operate eight regional distribution centers with inventories consisting primarily of Redwood, cedar, pine, fir, composite lumber and engineered wood products. This guarantees our customers the highest quality goods at competitive pricing.
Support services are provided by the National Accounts operations and the company’s Corporate Services office. Capital’s 250 employees include 80 experienced, knowledgeable sales and marketing professionals calling on over 1,500 accounts comprised of retail and pro-sales building materials dealers, home centers and the outdoor living industry.
